Glee Season 2 Episode 4 "Duets"

The third episode for Season 2 of Glee is entitled "Grilled Cheesus". Series co-creator Ryan Murphy predicts the episode will be Glee's most controversial, as it will focus on religion and what God means to the members of the glee club. In this episode, Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) - the Glee club co-captain, has an existential crisis upon believing to have seen the face of Jesus in a grilled cheese sandwich. Kurt (Chris Colfer) also experiences some spiritual crisis of his own which lead to Mercedes (Amber Riley) taking him to her church.

For Glee's second season, co-creator Ryan Murphy confirmed plans to cast a Christian character on the show, expressing desires to keep Glee a "show about inclusiveness". In an interview with TV Guide, Murphy said on Christianity, "If we're trying to form a world of inclusiveness, we've got to include that point of view as well."

The episode will feature cover versions of R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion", Joan Osborne's "One of Us", and "Papa, Can You Hear Me?" as performed by Barbra Streisand in the musical film Yentl.

Charice Pempengco's First Glee Episode

Youtube Singing Sensation Charice Pempengco is soon to make waves in her first appearance as Sunshine Corazon in the hit musical TV series Glee. The second season of Glee will start on September 1. The first episode of the second season is entitled "Auditions".

Charice’s character will be a rival of lead star Rachel Berry (played by Lea Michele).

Ryan Murphy, the Glee series creator, said that the episode is about “the idea that everybody’s daily life is an audition for something.” In this season premiere, Heather Morris (”Brittany”), Naya Rivera (”Santana”), and Mike O’Malley (”Burt Hummel”) have been promoted to series regulars. Recurring characters will include Chord Overstreet as Sam Evans who is introduced as an athletic protégé of glee club member Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) but later becomes his rival.

Heather Morris Covers Britney Spears

Heather Morris also known as Birttany in the hit musical TV series Glee, will be covering Birtney Spears song for the second episode of the second season.
The episode will feature cover versions of six of her songs,two of which will be performed by Morris."Stronger", "Oops!... I Did It Again", "...Baby One More Time", and "Toxic" have all been confirmed. "I'm a Slave 4 U" has a big possibility to be included on the episode. Glee Season 2 Episode 2 will be shown on September 28.

Charice on Glee Season 2

Did she already meet the cast of Glee?

"Hindi ko pa po nami-meet ang cast, pero nababasa ko po yung tweets nila about me na super excited na po sila mag-enroll ako sa school nila," said Charice.

According to the website of U.S. magazine Entertainment Weekly, her role will be a "foreign exchange student whose killer vocals get Rachel (played by Lea Michele) contemplating murder."

What exactly did she do during the auditions?

"Gusto ko pong sabihin pero hindi po ako puwede maglabas ng details tungkol sa audition. Ang masasabi ko lang po, hindi po talaga ako nag-expect. Dati, nanginginig pa ako pero hanggang dun na lang po."

What are the preparations that she has been doing for Glee?

"Nagbo-voice lessons na po ako at pati sa acting at accent. Ang pinakaimportante po talaga yung acting. Dun po kami nagfo-focus talaga."

When rumors came out saying that she will be part of the second season of Glee, did she feel pressured?

"Kinabahan talaga ako nung lumabas ang rumor...pero masaya ako kasi it's the best rumor ever...na makasama ako sa Glee. Right after ng rumor na yun, tinanong ng Mommy ko ang manager ko si Marc [Johnston] kung puwede namin i-try ang Glee. Kasi very, very massive siya sa States at never kami nag-expect na makakapasa ako. Kasi siyempre, sa dami ng magagaling sa States, never akong nag-expect.

Charice will make her fist appearance on S02E01 of Glee.

Glee Season 2

Glee Season 2 is about three to four months away. But, the Glee Season 2 countdown will feel longer after the season finale last night. The final showdown at regionals was the last medley in this freshman year for Mr. Schue and the New Directions. Of course, without a win or place at regionals, the entire club would supposedly be finished. Since the show had become the biggest phenomenon on TV in just one year, the season finale would have to have victory, even against Vocal Adrenaline and judge Sue Sylvester. Indeed, the club will be back for Glee Season 2, but not for the reasons many expected.

For the second straight week, the club was in a massive funk to start things off - this time due to Sue becoming a regionals judge. With defeat and the end of the club looking imminent, Will tried to show that the important thing was how far they'd come. And, as all good Gleeks known, the journey began with Journey.

However Glee Season 2 starts, it couldn't be as big as "Don't Stop Believing" in the pilot. But the season finale tried to come close, as the music of Journey was reprised in one big medley. With the reunited Rachel and Finn performing "Faithfully" and with one last "Don't Stop Believing" reprise, it was the spectacle a year in the making - and there were still 40 minutes left.

Yet, Vocal Adrenaline drew inspiration from another band that got a big Glee bump. Queen's "Somebody To Love" is another popular Glee number and, this time, their "Bohemian Rhapsody" got an homage - alongside another event that was a year in the making.

Although the season finale held the club's future in the balance, Glee Season 2 was far more of a sure thing. So, no matter what Sue, Olivia Newton John and Josh Groban judged, the club would be back to perform again somehow. Still, there was doubt as to how that would happen for a while.

Watch as Charice Pempengco is introduced as an exchange student and a new member of the Glee club. Rachel (Lea Michele) will have her hands full by having the diminutive and powerful vocals of Charice in the group. For now you might want to read some spoilers about S02E01 of Glee. Co-creator Ryan Murphy has already planned six of the 11 episodes next season and he’s calling them “big fun” and “moving.”

Here's what to expect on season 2 of Glee:

—More Musical Tributes: “The Madonna episode was so popular, I think I’m gonna do two tribute episodes — one in the fall and one in the spring — and we’re figuring out who those artists are.”

—New Characters: Murphy already let it slip that Susan Boyle might be appearing but he and producers are also looking to add some new members to the club, including a boyfriend for Kurt. “I just want him to be an everyday dude,” says Murphy. “And I want him to be sort of struggling [with his sexuality] and Kurt helps him deal with it and in the process they fall for each other.” Also look for a potential love interest for Mercedes and a Carrie Underwood-esque, Christian country singer who will be a rival to Rachel. “When people hear we’re going to do that, they will expect that we’re making fun of her,” says Murphy. “We’re not. The show is about inclusiveness and about giving voices to a lot of people.”
